BLOODY WEATHER

 

Following the success of Rain Stops Play, which has now sold out, I felt that the concept could be re-visited without simply repeating the picture using a Springer Spaniel. Having previously photographed this delightful Springer, Sam, with his favourite tennis ball (his companion, Sadie features in LTL Springer II) the image virtually composed itself.

 

In reality, Sam is liver and white, but to follow in the vein of Rain Stops Play, the image had to be fundamentally black and white with only the eyes and the tennis ball in colour.
